How did your family influence you?

A study that followed children over a ten year period showed that positive relationships among children and their relatives led to more positive, healthy behaviors in life. Their physical health, taking care of themselves and making healthy choices, was connected with their family experiences as young children.

How have your parents influenced you?

My parents teach me everyday by example. I value the ability to listen because my dad’s ability to do so makes me more eager to talk to him. I strive to speak up for myself because I see my mom never afraid to do so. I see my parents sacrifice so much of themselves just as other parents do for their children.

The first significant way that influenced my life by growing up with my family is my personality. My kindness to the other people, good manners, confident, independent, and determined in my goals are some of the principles my parent have implanted me as I grew up.
